Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper

On Holy Thursday night Lent has ended and the Church at this Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper enters the Paschal Triduum (“three days”) of Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday. The concelebrated Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated by the Most Reverend Robert Casey, Archbishop of Cincinnati. The Cathedral Basilica Choir will sing.

At this Mass, the liturgy will draw us toward the whole of the Paschal Triduum through the Sacred Scriptures, the mandatum or washing of feet, which is our direct expression of our service to one another and the world, and through the Eucharistic banquet itself.
