Curious about progress toward parish vitality and the goals of Beacons of Light in our 57 Families of Parishes? Archbishop Casey has released the 2026 Parish Vitality Report to bring everyone in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati up to date. In addition to facts, figures, stories and witness, there’s an opportunity for you to give feedback on your experience of parish life, which will be used in future planning for our Family of Parishes.

2026
Lent, for each of us and for our Church, is a time of quiet and prayerful reflection. From the time of the first liturgies celebrated on Ash Wednesday until the kindling of the Easter Fire for the Vigil on Holy Saturday, we step away from the busy world and reflect on who we are and whose we are to become.
The cathedral basilica this year wishes to accompany you on your journey through Lent and invites you to join us weekly in one of our many Eucharistic liturgies, the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession), Eucharistic Adoration on Thursday afternoon, and Stations of the Cross on each of the Friday evenings leading up to Holy Week and the celebration of Easter.
We invite you to join us for the sharing of prayer and our growth together in our faith in Jesus Christ!
The cathedral basilica offers the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) program of classes and discussion sessions for those who wish to become Catholic or for those who simply want to learn more about our faith.
For more information, contact Deacon Ed Bayliss through the parish office at (513) 421-5354 or via email to [email protected]
We look forward to walking with you on your journey of faith.
