Altar Servers

The Cathedral is blessed to have a family who has been serving here for three generations. They help get our new recruits trained and ready for action.

If your child would like to become a Cathedral altar server, please call the Parish Office.

We are especially in need of any homeschool families who could be available to serve weekday funerals from time to time.

Liturgical Ministry

The liturgies of the Cathedral are the hallmark of celebration in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and it is always important that we have a regular group of individuals available to serve as Readers and Ministers of Holy Communion for each of our principal Sunday Masses as well as for weekdays.

At this time, we are actively recruiting members of the congregation to step forward and dedicate your time to one of these ministries.

There will be training provided for Ministers of Holy Communion prior to your being added to the schedule.

Please contact Deacon Michael Trimpe at [email protected] or 513.257.3649, for additional information and to let us know of your willingness to serve. We truly need you!

Pro Life Ministry

The Cathedral Pro-Life Ministry welcomes any new members. The group is involved with advocating respect life issues, especially during October, which is Respect Life Month. They also implement the Baby Bottle Campaign, which supports the good work being done at Old St. Mary’s Pregnancy Center in Over-the-Rhine. Please call the Parish Office to find out how you can help.

To get involved with the Pro-Life movement on the local level or to learn more about what is happening with Right to Life issues here in Cincinnati, please visit Cincinnati 40 Days for Life or Cincinnati Right to Life.

Ushers & Hospitality

The Cathedral is always looking for friendly folks to serve as Ushers/Hospitality.

We have four weekend Masses, concerts throughout the year and not near enough ushers to fill all of the spots.

If you would like to be part of the team that welcomes folks to the Mother Church of the Archdiocese, please call the Parish Office.
