Advent Lessons & Carols

The annual service of  Advent Lessons and Carols sung by the Cathedral Basilica Choir featuring seasonal choral music with the O Antiphon chants and handbells mark the beginning of the Advent season. No tickets required. Free-will offerings accepted.

Choral works include: Stopford: There is No Rose, Britten: A Hymn of St. Columba, J. S. Bach: Zion Hears the Watchmen Singing (Cantata 140), Lloyd: Drop Down Ye Heavens, Gabrieli: Magnificat á 8, Manz: E’en So, Lord Jesus, Quickly Come.
