The annual archdiocesan celebration of the Chrism Mass, celebrated by the Most Reverend Robert Casey, Archbishop of Cincinnati. During this Mass, oils used throughout the year for the celebration of the sacraments are blessed.

Tenebrae, Latin for “darkness,” is a special Holy Week liturgy featuring passiontide music spanning medieval through 20th century chant and polyphony, including Gregorio Allegri’s sublime setting of Psalm 51, Miserere mei sung by the the Cathedral Basilica’s choir.
