Easter Sunday Solemn Mass
Join us Easter Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. for the Solemn Mass of Easter. The Mass will be celebrated by Father Jan Schmidt, Rector of the Cathedral Basilica with music sung by the Cathedral Basilica Choir with brass ensemble and organ.
Easter Sunday, or the Resurrection of the Lord, is the central Christian feast celebrating Jesus Christ rising from the dead, as described in the New Testament, following his crucifixion by the Romans. Observed in March or April, it marks the culmination of Passion Week, representing victory over sin and the promise of eternal life.
